Move-Out Success Guide
It has truly been a pleasure having you as a tenant, and we appreciate the time you’ve spent with us. As you prepare for your next chapter, here is some guidance to make your move-out smooth and successful.
Please review the attached MOVE-OUT guide carefully. It includes important phone numbers, helpful tips, and key information to guide you through the check-out process. Please note: once check-out is complete, you will no longer have access to your apartment or house.
During your check-out, we’ll refer to the Statement of Condition form from your move-in to assess the apartment’s current condition. We are primarily looking for a clean apartment, free of damage. If you have any questions as you prepare, feel free to reach out—we’re here to help. Don’t forget to check out the tips in the MOVE-OUT guide. This will provide you with important steps to getting your full deposit back! Worried about charges? We return full deposits to over 80% of our tenants. Top 5 Check-Out Steps
Set up an appointment to check out - Schedule a check-out appointment with us at your apartment or house. We'll do our best to accommodate your preferred date and time. Call or Text 214-289-5134 or Email KarlaTerry@WestShoreApts.com.
Remove all trash & personal belongings (trash tags are required).
Clean your apartment/house.
Have all keys ready to turn in at your scheduled check-out time at the apartment.
Your utilities must remain active through the end of your lease. The incoming tenants will then transfer the accounts from your name into theirs.
